A photograph is a two dimension form that consists of length and width. But a photograph can evoke a 3 dimension impression – a depth of photo perspective. We can achieve this goal by inserting in our picture a few converging lines. The more converging, the more intense the sensation of the depth is.
An example of the depth photo perspective is shown in the photo below. The wooden bridge in the park with fences at both left and right sides run vertically away from the foreground towards the landscape in the distance. This will lead the viewer eyes into the depth of the park faraway.
Alternatively, or together with it, we can put an object in the nearest foreground and a farthest background behind. The object in the nearest foreground will appear bigger compared to the background and, again, this will improve our impression in depth of photo perspective. The nearer the object in the foreground, the higher the perception of the depth is.

Nature frame
A more effective way of creating a depth of photo perspective is by manipulating the foreground with nature frame. You can put a small area of an object in the foreground with a blurred or dark element and leading lines that converges vertically or diagonally towards the distance.
The fences on both sides of this wooden bridge and the wooden catwalk create vertical lines that converge at the distance. This is very effective in creating a sense of depth photo perspective. In addition, the nature frame in the foreground – the dark edge of the catwalk in the bottom line improves a more intense sensation of depth photo perspective.

Besides horizontal; vertical nature frame can also be very effective in improving a depth of photo perspective
Besides horizontal; vertical nature frame can also be very effective in improving a depth of photo perspective. The two vertical wooden pickets on both left and right sides of the bridge are made dark on the foreground. By having the dark vertical nature frame on the foreground; you can improve a more intense sensation of depth photo perspective; besides the depth sensation that have been already produced by the bridge toward the far end.

By having the dark vertical nature frame on the foreground
By manipulating the foreground either vertically or horizontally or even combination of both can be used as nature frame that helps creating depth of photo perspective.

The shadow lines from the tree - creates vertical lines
Nature lines can also be used to lead the eyes to feel the depth of photo perspective in the photograph. The shadow lines from the tree on the above photo create nature lines that lead the viewer’s eyes to the depth of photo perspective. Sisse Brimberg successfully captured this moment; the beauty of the morning atmosphere that produces a depth of photo perspective with nature lines; the shadow lines.
